Textmate is reason enough alone to own a Mac. I am just now trying out the blogging bundle and it is really quite awesome. One of the biggest barriers to more frequent blogging, at least for me, is the PITA that it is to open a browser, go to the admin interface of one of my blogs, type it all up in an ugly HTML form and then submit it. It is primarily because of this that I have been doing most of my posting via my nothoo Tumblr. Tumblr is a very cool application but I do not like that I do not have absolute control over the server and my posts. With the TextMate blogging bundle it looks like my woes will be solved, at least if I am at my Mac. Posting from my work machine (running Ubuntu Linux) will not be so smooth but then again I probably should not be posting from work. Right Frank?
