In Fact, I Still Do Not Own a Wii

You would think by now that companies would have figured out this whole eCommerce thing, but apparently not. Here is a quote from the Wii tracking site that I linked to earlier:

Today Fry’s website was saying it had the Wii in stock, but actually their ordering server crashed yesterday. It was taking orders this morning, but all those orders (including mine) never went through. when i talked to customer svc, they said they got in 25 wii’s yesterday and they were all sold by last night. just a heads up

So bottom line Fry’s is an incompetent e-tailer and something to avoid. I still have not received an email about my “order” however it still shows as “in-process” on the Fry’s website. I wonder what kind of headache I am now going to have to go through to “cancel” my non-order. Idiots.
