RateBeer Down

Just in case any of you ratebeerians out there check my blog, RateBeer is down. The server experienced a hardware failure around 3:30CDT. Joe is working with the hosting company to get it back on line ASAP. I will post updates as I get them from Joe.

[UPDATE: 2320 EDT]
The server is still dead and the idiots at the hosting company are not helping us at all. They so far have not even hung the “Sorry server down for repairs” message as we asked them to do. In the meantime Joe has a new host lined up. Hopefully these morons will get the thing up again soon.

    Try to keep this posting at the top of Google’s list…it’s the only way I would have know that RB’s server is down. I’m sure there will be allot of frustrated Ratebeerians out there wondering what’s up. Thanks!

    8/17/06 – Here we go again…I can’t get on to the site. Anyone else Googling “RateBeer Down” will be brought here. Please post if you too are having trouble. Thanks.

    Wow I guess that I am the offical place to go when the site is down! Next time I will tell Joe to email me then I can add a comment here with the status!

    Yeah it seems to have been down for quite a while this time. I have not been involved in the maintenance of the site in quite a while so I do not have any insider info for all you folks that are hitting this post via google. All I can say is browse around my site. Its crappy, but have fun.
