So I am watching the stupendously awful TV halftime show during
the Sugar Bowl. ABC decides to do a human interest story about a
Virgina Tech player whose brother is deployed in Iraq. They go live to
the brother in Iraq who is sitting in a room with 10 or so other
military personnel. The commentator chats with the brother. Then he
tells him to tell the others to give a wave and a hello to their loved
ones back home. They then cut to the VT player whose brother was being
interviewed, he is on the sideline spitting a huge amount of liquid out
of his mouth. Beautiful. Absolutely brilliant.
